Videos emerged online showing an accident near Exit 3 of the Central Expressway (CTE), with an errant driver driving against traffic and running over a motorcyclist.
The driver then appeared to reverse his car and seemingly fled the scene following the collision, with the motorist’s present condition being unknown.
The videos surfaced on social media on 30 September, with the motorcyclist being seen slipping into the CTE exit.
As the motorcyclist was going around the bend, he appeared to have noticed an oncoming car’s headlights and tried to brake to avoid a collision.
However, he couldn’t brake in time and crashed head-on with the errant driver, who was going at full speed and didn’t slow down.
The motorcyclist was then thrown off his bike and flung into the air before landing painfully onto the ground.
Another video showed the aftermath of the accident, with a person standing near the fallen motorcycle, but the motorcyclist was nowhere to be seen.
The driver of the car then reversed and appeared to drive away from the scene.
