47 Y.O MAN FOUND DEAD AT YISHUN, 19 Y.O TEENAGE SON ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED MURDER

The Singapore Police Force arrested a 19-year-old for his suspected involvement in the murder of his father, a 47-year-old man, according to Channel NewsAsia.

They said in a statement that they received a call for help on 10 October at about 7.05pm at a unit along Yishun Avenue 4.

Police officers found a 47-year-old man lying motionless outside the residential unit when they arrived, and he was then pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

The deceased’s 19-year-old son was also arrested at the scene, and will be charged in court tomorrow (12 October) with murder.

If convicted, the 19-year-old faces the death penalty.
