46-year-old former insurance agent Fong Poh Kuen, was charged with illegally obtaining the personal information of a school girl in January 2020.
He had allegedly gotten the schoolgirl’s (who cannot be named due to a court order protecting her identity) name, birthdate and phone number along a walkway between a school and Buona Vista MRT.
He was denied bail on 14 October after being deemed “extremely high risk of re-offending”.
The court heard on Friday that the police have uncovered new victims according to further investigations, and he could face 10 more charges.
Fong has reportedly been in remand since 2 September, and was denied bail due to his high risk of reoffending.
He is set to return to court on 11 November, and faces a jail term of up to 3 years and/or fined up to $10,000 for illegally obtaining personal information.
