A video emerged online on 22 October showing an accident that took place on Nicoll Highway, with a red coloured car hitting a grey sedan before flipping and ending up on its back.
The accident reportedly took place on 8 September, and according to SG Road Vigilante, the “turtled” car was a Mazda that was booked under GetGo, a carsharing app.
The Mazda was seen speeding down a lane on Nicoll Highway, before crashing into the rear-side of a taxi in front that was driving at a slower speed.
The resultant impact of the crash saw the Mazda flipping over and landing on its back, upside down, with the taxi also stopping as a result.
The taxi driver got out of his vehicle to check on the Mazda driver, as another driver also rushed over to check on the latter.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said that two people were sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital after the incident, which had taken place at the junction of Nicoll Highway and Guillemard Road.
They were alerted to the accident on 8 September at about 6am.
