At around 3 pm, users can only send messages to individual users, not to groups. Users also found this problem after the actual test.

As of about 3:25 p.m., the scope of WhatsApp’s malfunction expanded, and personal messaging and web version functions were also unavailable.

Looking through the data on the error reporting website Down Detector, as of 3:15 p.m., 1,601 users reported that WhatsApp was not functioning properly.

“We know that some people are currently having difficulty sending messages, and we are working hard to restore WhatsApp for everyone as quickly as possible,” a Meta spokesman said, according to Reuters.
