it has come to my attention that i might just be one of the most boring and potato working adults out there & i don’t know if this is linked to quarter life crisis as well or it’s just me being “hobby-less”.

because i noticed that whenever people ask me “What do you do during your free time? What do you like to do? What do you do that makes you happy?”
I realised I am not even doing much. strangely enough just spending time scrolling social media/ watching meaningless tiktok videos, poof my weekends are gone.
so I am curious how do most of you spend your free time as working adults / what do you working adults do that make you happy?

- I get all my joy from non work-related things. Dates with my partner, reading, cooking, exercise, board games nights with my friends.
For me, work is just work. Pros and cons to this – I never feel bogged down by my job and the hours are very chill for the pay I get (dead average pay for my age). On the other hand, I’m not really building my career with any sort of velocity. - Im 28 and i used to be a shut in that just spend lots of time on gaming and watching shows for 5 years
Now i spend lots of time on rollerblading and dancing.
I skate almost every day morning or evening if im with friends and have goals for joining competition in 1 year
Even planning on solo travels soon.
Life is what u make out of it 🙂. Just try a hobby and go for it - Not bad but sorta wish I had a partner or close friends. All drifted away a few years after graduation and idfk how to flirt with ppl without raising police alert to GTA 5 star level.
I cant pick up girls for shit but can pick up reasonably heavy metal things tho. Lifting and memes are sole source of feelsgoodman. Vidya just makes me sad coz I don’t have time to commit to my old overseas gaming groups nowadays
