Company director of Sin Lam Bee Sawmill Ng Lam Siong had attempted to bribe NEA officer Mr Muhammad Kamil Mohamad Noh $50 in turn that he would report lesser amount of mosquito-breeding grounds at 2 Sungei Kadut Street 3 in his company’s factory.

After the immediate rejection of bribe by the NEA officer, the case was brought up to CPIB. In order to avoid a hefty fine based on investigations, as this was not the first time that mosquitoes breeding spots that were found in company’s premises.
