Mamee
Pang started his career from humble beginnings, and was a second hand car dealer before starting a small factory in Malacca in 1971, making instant noodles.
They launched their first product in 1972, but it wasn’t successful. In 1974, Pang then had the idea to sell instant noodles that were already cooked with flavouring after seeing farmers eating uncooked instant noodles from the packet.
And thus Mamee Monster was born.
