7 Y.O DAUGHTER LEARNED HOW TO WHISTLE, WON’T STOP WHISTLING & MUM GOING CRAZY

My seven year-old just learned how to whistle and it’s driving me insane She does it everywhere. All the time. Loudly.

I’m going to lose my mind.

Eating? Whistling between bites.

Watching TV? Whistling.

Going to the bathroom? Whistling.

Going to bed? I can hear the whistling slowly get softer over half an hour, until she falls asleep.

I don’t even want to take her around town with me anymore because I’m struggling to focus on driving. She whistles loudly the entire time.

She woke me up this morning by crawling on top of me and whistling DIRECTLY into my left ear. There’s still a faint ringing three hours later.

Netizens’ comments

  • Now we know why spiders eat their young.
  • My twin boys were the same way. Take a video of it. You’ll laugh at it when they’re grown up.
  • I’m 42 now and I also did this apparently, according to my mum. It drove her mad! She says I was really young (about 5 I think).
My mum often says that my older sister started talking at 9 months and didn’t stop, and I discovered whistling at a young age and also did not stop.
FYI: I still whistle extremely frequently now (in the kitchen, car, shower, on walks etc.) so I doubt your little songbird will give up any time soon.
