There was a signalling fault on the North East Line at Farrer Park MRT on 23 November, resulting in a 30 minute delay.

NEL service is delayed due to a signalling fault at NE8 Farrer Park. Additional travel time of about 10 minutes may be expected. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

You may wish to use other MRT lines if you are at HarbourFront, Outram Park, Chinatown, Dhoby Ghaut, Little India or Serangoon Station.
If you’re travelling to Shenton Way, Orchard or Woodlands, please consider transferring at Outram Park Station to take the Thomson-East Coast (TEL) Line.
You can also take TEL at Outram Park to get to Serangoon via Caldecott Station.
If you’re at HarbourFront Station and you’re heading to Serangoon, please use the Circle Line.
