26-year-old Natalia Andrea Larranaga Fajardo was killed after she jumped off a boat into the sea and got sucked into the boat’s propellers, being shredded to pieces and killing her, according to The Daily Star.
The incident happened on 27 November in the waters off White Wata Beach in San Andres, Colombia.
Natalia had jumped off the boat into the waters to retrieve her slippers when she got sucked into the boat’s propellers.
She got shredded by the propellers and was severely injured in her buttocks, lower back and legs, and she suffered massive bleeding.
She went through surgery and multiple blood transfusions but ultimately succumbed to her severe injuries and died after suffering 2 cardiac arrests.
Videos captured by witnesses at the scene showed her being carrying by lifeguards onto the boat, where she was then rushed to the hospital.
She went through emergency surgery and was warded in the ICU where she died after suffering her second cardiac arrest.
