Do you know POSB has been around for 140 years?
POSB was first founded in 1877 on the 1st of Jan which is 140 years ago. Initially, POSB was set up to provide banking services for low-income citizens. The original headquarters of the bank was located at General Post Office Building. Today the building is more well known as The Fullerton Hotel.
Later on in the 1990s, The Bank was acquired by DBS. That’s why you can draw and deposit money from both machines!
Now with the age of technological advancement, POSB has launched the VTM. Which stands for Video teller machine. Meaning you will be able to do banking services without actually going to a POSB branch.
