He then fell off his bike and broke his tooth, as well as injuring his face.

He said that he was in a state of shock when two passers-by came to his aid, but was too shocked to take a photo of his bike or collect detail from the witnesses.

He is appealing to the two witnesses to contact him, although some netizens are wondering if he is reaching out to them to thank them, or to gather evidence to find fault with the authorities.

Here is what he said

Accident. Appealing for witnesses.

On 28 Dec 2022 at about 1030am in the morning, along Tampines Ave 5, outside block 863, I was cycling along the road and my bicycle tyre was stuck in the drain cover which runs parallel to the road.

My bicycle came to a sudden stop but I was still in motion and was thus flung downwards, sustaining injuries to my face and fractured a tooth.

I was in a state of shock while 2 passerby assisted me. As such, it did not occur to me to take a picture of the stuck bike or even collect details from the witnesses.

If you were the kind Malay uncle or Indian chap who assisted me, please contact me.

Anyone who happened to drive by with cam footages, I would be most grateful.
