A resident who lives at the Park Villas Rise, Mr Liu, spoke to Shin Min Daily News and said that the rubbish truck driver knocked on his front door at about 8am on 4 February.

He wanted to know if the white Mercedes that was parked outside his residence belonged to him, and wanted the car to move to the side so that his rubbish truck could pass.

Liu told the driver that he didn’t who was the owner of the car, and the truck driver then continued to knock on the doors of other residents.

It was then that Liu heard shouting coming from outside, and he went out and saw a middle aged man arguing with the truck driver.

He found out that the Mercedes was parked too far out from the kerb and the truck driver didn’t want to scratch the car by driving through the narrow road.

But the Mercedes driver refused to budge or move his car and the two then got into a heated argument.

Liu overheard the Mercedes driver saying that the rubbish truck driver wasn’t showing him any respect, which enraged him.

The argument got so heated that the police were called in to defuse the situation.

Eventually the Mercedes driver was convinced by the police to move his car after the officers spent about an hour speaking to both drivers.
