MAN BOUGHT A “NEWLY RENOVATED” UNIT, FOUND KANASAI-LOOKING CEILING PEELING

Just bought an old unit at Bendemeer .

Newly full renovated and move in on 12/10/2022.

Previous owner informed 3-4 years ago about ceiling peeling / flaking . Nothing was done . I was not informed when I purchase .

1st appointment was 17 November 2022. Report received via mobile phone . Said ceiling moist , told us to scrape, patch & supervise . Professionally Scraping & repainting was done in 5th December 2022.

Peeling/ flaking started again in 12 December 2022.

Told pictures to submit to HDB via feedback form & told text reply from previous officer . Officer say will check with unit upstairs. Officer told us upstairs unit sink pipe show ear & tear & water proofing not so good. Test done on 16 December 2022. Told us to monitor .

Discolouration : peeling / flaking show on 24 December 2022.

Send updated picture to HDB on 28 December 2022. Was told will call back on 30 December 2022. No one returned call.

Tired to call again in jan 2023 . No response from the hdb officer .

Professionally Scraping & repainting again was done in 19 jan 2023 before CNY.

Discolouration : peeling / flaking show on 25 Jan 2023

What should I do next? I’m unable to cook or use the kitchen. For months . It’s a 2022 newly renovated Unit. Yet this problem occurs.
