My friend has been obsessed with finding a girlfriend for what seems like forever. Every time we were out together, he was looking for someone to talk to, thinking he had a chance with them.
It was like he was in his own little bubble, and no matter how many times he got rejected, he never seemed to learn his lesson.
He became a simp, doing anything as long as the girl asks
At first, I thought it was kind of cute and I was rooting for him. He was always so hopeful and optimistic that he would find someone he liked, and I wanted him to succeed.
But as time went on, his behavior only got worse. He started to become desperate and would do anything to get a girl to talk to him, even if it was totally inappropriate or desperate.
I started to get worried that he was going to get hurt, but he just wouldn’t listen. He kept saying that he was sure he could find someone if he just kept looking.
But then one day, it all changed. It turns out that the girls he was talking to weren’t interested in him at all. They were just using him for free meals and transport.
He was so embarrassed and angry that he didn’t want to talk about it. He just wanted to forget about it and move on.
But it was too late. The damage had already been done. He had wasted so much of his time trying to find someone who would never care about him.
Never ever learnt his lesson
After a while when he got over his heartbreak, he told us that he would be more wary about the girls he is meeting and he will not simp over a girl anymore but it seems like he had not learnt his lesson.
He still goes all out for any girl who he thinks he has a chance with and even though some of the girls had called him out for being creepy or desperate, he is still not giving up.
