Have y’all ever genuinely forget to pay in a restaurant after eating and just left like that?

So today, i went to eat at a restaurant with my cousin. The food was good and we were too full from it… so we walked out forgetting that we had to pay our bills.

The person in charge had to chase after us. Genuinely felt so bad about it because we walked quite a distance away from the restaurant without even realising or remembering that we had to pay…

   Went to Saffron for some prata after circuit breaker and forgot that payment is made after the meal. Luckily one of the waiter noticed and called out to me before I ended up dining and dashing.
2. Once. I was rushing between lectures and forgot to pay. I went straight back after the second lecture. As I approached, the staff was pointing at me and shouting “THAT’S HIM!” I explained and we all had a laugh.

   We left and only realised it maybe 30 minutes later that we hadn’t paid and rushed back. And the guy had no reaction lmao just calmly asked us what we drank.
5. Mine wasnt restaurant but at a prata shop. Twice in my life. They don’t take your money on the spot but after eating. The 1st time it happened, my colleague and I were in our police uniform. We realised and immediately walked back to pay
6. Yes, was so engrossed in conversation with the friend I was dining with, we just walked out… Then next day I was like “hey did we pay?” and called the place to confirm we didn’t. Then came back to settle the bill and the manager looked so genuinely confused like “wth you could have gotten a free meal” lol
