The couple’s story is nothing short of extraordinary, as the 62-year-old woman is 34 years older than her 28-year-old husband.
Their journey began when they crossed paths on the internet, meeting through an online platform in October 2021. Surprisingly, less than eight months later, they were engaged, and on September 9th of the following year, they exchanged vows, sealing their bond.
The age disparity between them has led many people to mistakenly assume that Ms. Rokiah and Mr. Amin are grandmother and grandson. Such confusion is understandable considering that Ms. Rokiah is not only a wife and mother but also a proud grandmother to 22 grandchildren. In fact, her eldest daughter is almost 20 years older than her husband, standing at the age of 45.
Mr. Amin, however, sees beyond the age gap and cherishes his partner for her youthful spirit and angelic beauty. Their love story began when Mr. Amin left a comment on Ms. Rokiah’s TikTok page, sparking an online connection that soon turned into something deeper. Captivated by her mature and understanding nature, Mr. Amin made the decision to relocate from Sabah to Kelantan to be with his beloved.
This is not Ms. Rokiah’s first experience with a younger husband. In fact, Mr. Amin is her third spouse, and she hopes he will be her last. Her previous two husbands were also younger than her, with the first one being six years her junior and the second one the same age as her current partner. Unfortunately, her second marriage ended due to her ex-husband’s work-related commitments in China.
Ms. Rokiah considers herself fortunate to have a younger husband, as she believes they are easier to care for. She emphasizes the importance of mutual respect, understanding, and love in their relationship. Mr. Amin wholeheartedly agrees and admits that he pampers his wife.
