The Workers’ Party (WP) chief Pritam Singh said on Wednesday that they have always been dedicated to putting forth candidates who can genuinely represent Singapore and its people.
In light of recent events involving the resignations of Aljunied GRC MP Leon Perera and senior party member Nicole Seah due to an extramarital affair, the party chief addressed the issue during a media conference.
He emphasized that the WP will continue its efforts to find the best candidates while being transparent and true to the values held dear by the party.
