US comedian and actor Kevin Hart shared that he has been confined to a wheelchair after tearing his lower abdomen and “abductors” following an ill-fated sprint race with former NFL athlete Stevan Ridley.
The former New England Patriots running back shared videos on Friday that captured a lighthearted race between him and Kevin Hart.
What was intended to be a fun and friendly challenge quickly took a painful twist, leaving Hart with multiple injuries and confined to a wheelchair.

The videos posted on Ridley’s Instagram account depict two races between the former NFL running back and the famous comedian. The first race involved a 40-yard dash, a common metric used to measure speed in American football.
Ridley’s athleticism was on full display as he outpaced Hart in what seemed to be a light-hearted competition between friends. However, it was the second race that took a dramatic turn, changing the tone of the entire encounter.
In the second race, the atmosphere shifted as Hart appeared to sustain injuries during the sprint. As the two competitors raced side by side, Hart’s exclamation of “Gotcha!” was soon replaced by an expletive as he clutched his left abdomen and slowed down.
