The Arrest: Charges and Details
The Straits Times reported that the police arrested the 25-year-old male driver on charges of dangerous driving, evasion of a roadblock, and drink driving. The pursuit took place at approximately 1.45 am.
The sequence of events began when traffic police officers signaled the driver to halt at a roadblock. However, instead of complying, the driver accelerated away from the officers and the roadblock, leading to an escalating situation and the harrowing multi-vehicle chase.

The drama of the car chase was captured in a video shared on the sgfollowsall Instagram page. The footage, taken from a nearby camcar, showed the black vehicle speeding past the camcar.
Soon after, red and blue police lights illuminated the scene, with a total of a police car and 5 police motorcycles in hot pursuit.
Aftermath
In another video shared on TikTok, police motorcycles, police cars and an ambulance were seen stopped on the left side of a two lane road; with a car purportedly from the chase, flipped over on the right side of the road.
