A man who wanted to try his luck buying a lottery in Taiwan won the million-dollar jackpot, after the man won he immediately kneel down on the spot to propose marriage, shouting “the marriage fund is available”.
According to the description of “Lai Jiu Fa Business”, the winners of the million-dollar prize were a pair of childhood sweethearts in their 30s. On the day of the big prize, they worshipped and prayed at the Tui Gong Temple.
There was a betting shop next to it, so he decided to go to the lottery shop to buy scratch-off lottery cards to try his luck. After buying the card he left only to return back a few hours later to ask the shop to help them confirm the winning prize.
The man won the jackpot prize of NT$1 million which is equivalent to over $48,000 Singapore dollars.
The woman said she was grateful to the Earth God for making her a bride this year, adding that she plans to have a baby next year.
Unlike Singapore Pools, Taiwan’s lottery system is on another level, the company had once organized a lottery event which is NT$880 million. Which is around $42 million Singapore dollar.
