Dashcam Footage Reveals a Shocking Incident
The unfortunate accident took place on 2nd October at about 8:31 pm in the evening. As the vehicle was approaching the traffic light, two pedestrians had just finished crossing the road and reached the pavement before the traffic light then turned green for the cars to go, and the driver then continued driving forward
As the driver proceeded through the green light, a cyclist then jaywalked (or jay-cycled) across the road. The cyclist was moving at a constant speed, and for a brief moment, glanced over at the approaching car.
Unfortunately, the driver failed to notice the entire moving bicycle and made no attempt to brake. Tragically, the car collided with the cyclist and knocked him down.
The Immediate Response
The driver then exclaimed loudly “walao come from where one” as he then alighted from his car to check on the stricken rider.
Fortunately the driver was not driving very fast at the time when he knocked down the cyclist, or else the consequences could have been very dire.
