A Singapore animal welfare group, Chained Dog Awareness in Singapore, posted several videos and photos on their Facebook page, where they shared the plight of a group of dogs that were allegedly chained up at an office building area in Joo Koon.
One of the dogs had died and was thrown inside a rubbish bag, about to be buried in a hole that the workers had dug up.
The group is asking for an autopsy to be conducted on the death of the dog, named Max.

The Heartbreaking Last Moments of a Chained Dog’s Life
This morning we received a distressing report from a concerned individual about three dogs that were cruelly chained up in the rain at 3 Joo Koon Circle. Overwhelmed with emotion, she described the heart-wrenching situation of Max, one of the dogs, who lay lifeless on the grass. As we watched the video, our hearts sank, heavy rain relentlessly beating down on his motionless body. We feared the worst, as she had predicted.
Upon reaching the factory, we were informed by the staff that Max had passed away at 9:53 am, as confirmed by CCTV footage. Shockingly, his body had been callously discarded and thrown into a trash bag by his owners. The workers had already begun digging a hole, seemingly ready to bury him without any dignity or respect.
To the Management of *company name redacted*, we address you directly. You have callously disposed of a dog, whom you described as a stray that you supposedly cared for and fed. Yet, you lacked the decency to provide him with a proper burial. Is it because he was deemed worthless in your eyes, simply because he was a stray?
We have informed NParks (AVS – Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore) about Max’s untimely death, seeking closure and understanding of the circumstances. Fortunately, we were able to intervene and prevent the worker from burying Max prematurely. We have requested that AVS conduct an autopsy to uncover the truth behind his passing.
This is the very least we can do for Max. We hope *company name redacted* will now at least show some decency and provide him with a proper burial. Max deserves to leave this world with the respect and compassion that was denied to him in his final moments.
