The man’s anger becomes evident as he audibly shouts and aggressively grapples with the woman. In a shocking turn of events, he throws multiple punches at her head, causing her to collapse onto her knees on the road, with him gripping her hair with force.

This violent scene unfolds while numerous passers-by are present, many of whom appear to notice the commotion but regrettably do not intervene.

The Agony Continues

Regrettably, the man’s aggression does not stop with a few punches. As the woman remains on her knees, he forcibly raises her head by her hair and continues his assault.

The woman, in a desperate attempt to protect herself, raises her arms, but her efforts are in vain. The man delivers another ruthless punch to her head and proceeds to kick her, culminating in a final kick that knocks her out. She eventually collapses, lying motionless on the pavement.

After this appalling act, the assailant shows a complete lack of remorse. He casually picks up a phone from the ground and walks away, leaving the victim behind.

The scene leaves viewers in disbelief, questioning how such a horrifying incident could occur in broad daylight.

Suspect arrested

Unsurprisingly, the video has elicited outrage and condemnation across various online platforms. Responding to the public’s outcry, the Hong Kong Police released a statement acknowledging the incident, which came to their attention on Tuesday, October 24th.

Inspector Luk Chi-Ho disclosed that an investigation had been initiated, and the person who recorded the video has been identified.

The incident took place at Tsim Sha Tsui at 10:40 AM on the same day, with the couple leaving in a taxi afterward.

On October 25th, the Hong Kong police apprehended a 16-year-old unemployed youth, surnamed Guan, after identifying him through the video.

Guan now faces charges of assault causing bodily harm, which could result in a prison sentence of up to three years if he is convicted, and he is currently out on bail.
