First Accident: November 20

Dashcam footage posted on the SG Road Vigilante (SGRV) Facebook page captured a harrowing scene on November 20. The intersection, typically busy with vehicles, witnessed a tragic collision.

Numerous cars were queued for a U-turn on Woodlands Avenue 5 when a mother and her daughter, estimated to be eight or nine years old, attempted to cross the road. Unfortunately, they failed to notice an incoming blue car, resulting in a full-speed collision.

Eyewitnesses at the scene described the chaos, with the young girl, wearing a school uniform, lying on the ground bleeding substantially from her head. The mother, too, sat beside her, bleeding from her forehead and appearing dazed from the shock of the accident.

Injuries and Emergency Response

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) promptly responded to the incident, conveying the two victims to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. The severity of their injuries highlighted the critical need for quick emergency services.
