DELIVERY DRIVER SORT PARCEL @ VOID DECK KENA SCOLD, SORT @ PARKING LOT ALSO KENA SCOLD

A netizen by the name of Jessie, took to STOMP to complain about other people complaining about delivery drivers sorting parcels on the ground at void decks.

She highlighted that because of the incessant complaints, now the delivery drivers are resorting to sorting parcels right on the parking lot of an open carpark at an unspecified housing estate.

The netizen said in her post: “Please stop complaining about them sorting packages on the ground at void decks. Now they have to sort packages in the parking lot so the packages you receive are probably even more unhygienic.”

In the accompanying video, a couple of delivery men were seen sorting and wafting through a bunch of delivery parcels sitting on a vacant parking lot, with some of the other parcels sitting on the grass and some on the pavement.

The response online by netizens have been largely critical of the netizen and defending the delivery men, citing how “difficult” their life must be, having people complain about everything they do.

However, there were also a select few siding with the netizen and saying that the parcels should have been sorted at the warehouse first instead.

1. People working so hard also get complained .. if its doesnt hurt others why must make someone life more difficult
2. The question here is “Are you going to keep the box or packaging? Frame it up and hang on the wall as deco?” If we are going to discharge it (recycling if possible), do see any issue at all so long as the items received are in good condition. They are just doing their job. Where to find a big space to sort out all the parcels? If you order online, be prepared mentally that it is like that and not “clean”. Even if you buy from malls or boutiques, you think they don’t put the stuffs on the floor on the storeroom etc. No offend but let’s show more empathy and humanity.
3. Get the root of the problem. The operator of these delivery need to do the sort out in their warehouse before their vendor start collecting it.
4. Sigh it’s just the wrapping bag and boxes that is dirty not your ITEMS stop whining
5. the warehouse floor isnt any better. and its in a cardboard box that u’re probably gna throw away, so whats the issue?
