According to the Straits Times, both the man and another driver, aged 44, were conscious and taken to Changi General Hospital. The accident resulted in a BMW flipping over and another car resting on its side. Although two individuals were assessed for minor injuries, they declined hospitalization.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force and the police received reports of the incident around 12:50 pm. A video posted on SG Road Vigilant revealed a damaged and overturned BMW on the second lane of the ECP towards Changi Airport, with two of its left-side doors open. Another car, displaying a private hire vehicle decal on its top left windscreen, was also spotted lying on its right side.

The identity of the car driven by the arrested man remains undisclosed, and investigations are currently underway. This incident underscores the significance of driving with a valid license and the owner’s consent and highlights the risks of irresponsible driving.
