Locations covered included a residential unit near Clementi Avenue 4, where two Singaporean male drug abusers aged 19 and 21 were arrested on 19 February. While CNB officers were conducting a search in the master bedroom, the 19-year-old had charged towards a CNB female officer with a knife from his hiding spot behind the curtains. He was referred to Police for further investigation for criminal intimidation while CNB continues investigations into his drug offences.

On 21 February, four Singaporean males aged between 58 and 69 were arrested at a residential unit near Clementi Avenue 2 for suspected drug trafficking offences. A total of about 1,788 heroin, 19g of ‘Ice’ and various drug paraphernalia within the unit and strewn (out of the bedroom window) at the foot of the residential block were recovered and seized.

On 22 February, CNB officers had acted on information received and arrested a 23-year-old Singaporean man and an 18-year-old Singaporean girl at the void deck of a residential block near Edgefield Plains for suspected drug trafficking offences via Telegram. A search conducted had recovered 11g of ‘Ice’ from the man’s belongings, 60g of ‘Ice’ and 27 ‘Ecstasy’ tablets from his residence in the same block, and a baton and knuckle duster from his car. 3g of ‘Ice’ was also seized from the girl’s residence near Aljunied Crescent.
