According to eyewitnesses, the thief struck at 1:20 am, making off with a brand-new Mokila motorbike brake lever worth $195. The victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, had left the item outside their cabinet, believing the CCTV cameras would provide a sense of security.

However, the thief seemed undeterred by the cameras, and the incident raised concerns about the safety and security of the neighbourhood. The victim is now warning others to be more vigilant and take extra precautions to secure their belongings.

“I thought I had taken enough measures to protect my property, but I was wrong,” the victim said in a statement. “I want to warn my neighbors to be careful and not make the same mistake I did.”
