We received a call on Friday during lunch hours, from a man who claimed to be Lady D’s spouse, requesting us to remove our YouTube video. We denied his request.He seemed very positive that his wife did not shoplift and mentioned that the items were all paid. We confirm with him that indeed some of the items were paid, but not all. He also requested for us to show him video proof, a request which we denied as well. We were of the suspicion that Lady D might not have told him the full story, so we urged him to remind his wife of the particular items’ product names that were not paid. The call ended after that and we had expected him to call back after asking his wife about the items
However, we did not receive any further calls, nor were we able to contact him as it was made from an unknown number. We’re of the opinion that one possibility for the police report they lodged was merely to get the video posts down. The removal of the posts seem to suggest that we (Hush.sg) are guilty of false allegations, when in fact it is not the case.
