The incident occurred at a Season Parking carpark, where a Malaysian-registered vehicle pulled into a slot on the second floor, a rare find during the peak hour of 7:30 pm. However, the driver’s joy was short-lived, as she was unaware that the parking spot was reserved exclusively for Season Parking holders. When politely informed of the mistake, the driver claimed ignorance, citing her non-Singaporean status.
The witness said:
This Malaysian registered car was driven I frontnof me to my Seasoned Parking carpark. And she found a slot at the 2nd floor (which is not so common during 7.30pm), she just parked there. I told her that this is only for Season Parking holders. She said she didn’t know…..I agree ( not being a Singaporean). I told her nicely to park in the higher decks….she shouted at me ” Very Funny!”…..thats where I got pissed off and took pic and sent in this and also called the LTA to report the incident….
Actually my intension was to educate a Foriegn Registered car driver to abid rules of Singapore. Her reply was nasty (” Very Funny!”) And that why I posted this here to let every1 know. Nothing to do with which country or who to call….I can even call the SPF, CNB, SCDF, HDB, LTA, MOM or even the Ghost Busters…..thats not the point here….make every complaint a worth while learning experience….
