In a significant enforcement operation, Singapore’s authorities have apprehended a total of 194 individuals, including 54 men and 140 women, aged between 18 and 72, during a multi-agency initiative that took place from November 25 to November 30, 2024. These netizens are currently under investigation for a range of offenses, such as working without a valid work permit, suspected drug-related activities, possession of offensive weapons, and violations under the Women’s Charter 1961. Additionally, four young netizens, aged between 16 and 20, are being scrutinized for their alleged involvement in forgery and cheating by impersonation.

The six-day operation targeted illicit activities across various locations, including massage establishments, public entertainment venues, private residences, and hotels in areas like Chinatown, Little India, Boat Quay, and Bugis. Spearheaded by the Central Police Division, the operation saw collaboration from the Criminal Investigation Department, Traffic Police, Central Narcotics Bureau, and the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
On November 30, during an anti-vice raid at shophouses and commercial units, drones equipped with thermal imaging technology were deployed, leading to the arrest of seven men, aged between 23 and 61, suspected of engaging in vice activities. The use of drones proved to be an effective tool in enhancing the operation’s efficiency.

During checks at popular entertainment spots, authorities discovered two outlets violating liquor licensing regulations, with underage individuals found consuming alcohol on the premises. Four netizens were also caught digitally altering their identification on mobile devices or presenting fake IDs, leading to investigations for forgery and impersonation. Furthermore, four men, aged between 18 and 30, were arrested for their affiliations with an unlawful society.

In a separate series of raids at hotels, four men, aged between 37 and 43, were arrested under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1973, with suspected controlled substances and drug paraphernalia seized from their rooms. One of these individuals is also under investigation for possessing offensive weapons.
