Some Roads Closed For NDP Rehearsals, Affected 3 Saturdays

Singapore Police Force Announcement

In preparation for the National Day Parade 2025, the Singapore Police Force has outlined traffic arrangements for the upcoming combined rehearsals and the National Education Show. The following events will take place at the Padang:

  • Saturday, 21 June 2025 – Combined Rehearsal 2
  • Saturday, 28 June 2025 – National Education Show 1

Road Closures and Traffic Management

To facilitate these rehearsals, several roads and lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic during the specified periods. Access will be granted only to authorized vehicles, including police and emergency vehicles.

Police officers, auxiliary police officers, security personnel, and Singapore Armed Forces marshals will be deployed at affected junctions to assist and direct motorists.

Motorists should anticipate traffic delays along the following roads:

  • Bras Basah Road
  • Collyer Quay
  • Guillemard Road
  • Hill Street
  • Mountbatten Road
  • North Bridge Road

  • Temasek Avenue

  • Victoria Street

Recommendations for Motorists

Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance and avoid the aforementioned roads. Public transport is highly encouraged for those traveling to the affected areas.

For those heading to Suntec City and Marina Square from Bras Basah Road, Esplanade Drive, or Nicoll Highway, alternate routes via Bayfront Avenue or Rochor Road leading to Temasek Boulevard should be utilized.

Parking Restrictions

Parking restrictions along the affected roads will be strictly enforced. Vehicles found parked illegally or causing obstruction will be towed.
