  2. 32-Year-Old Woman: On March 11, 2025, she was caught driving at 119 km/h on Upper Serangoon Road, where the speed limit was also 60 km/h. This incident was recorded by a red light camera. She will face charges under Section 63(4) of the Road Traffic Act 1961.
  3. 58-Year-Old Man: On March 12, 2025, he was driving a taxi at 107 km/h along Sheares Avenue, exceeding the 60 km/h limit. He will be charged under Section 63(4) of the Road Traffic Act 1961.
  4. 58-Year-Old Woman: On March 13, 2025, she was driving at 115 km/h in a 70 km/h zone along Upper Serangoon viaduct towards Bendemeer Road. She will be charged under Section 63(4) of the Road Traffic Act 1961.

  7. 56-Year-Old Man: On March 30, 2025, he was driving at 120 km/h in a 60 km/h zone along Sheares Avenue. He will be charged under Section 63(4) of the Road Traffic Act 1961.
  8. 43-Year-Old Man: On April 13, 2025, he was driving a van at 132 km/h, exceeding both the vehicle speed limit of 70 km/h and the road speed limit of 90 km/h along the Pan Island Expressway towards Tuas. He will be charged under Section 63(4) read with Section 63(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1961.

Legal Consequences

The offence of speeding under Section 63(4) of the Road Traffic Act 1961 carries a penalty of up to S$1,000, a jail term of up to three months, or both. For repeat offenders, the penalties increase to a fine of up to S$2,000, a jail term of up to six months, or both. Offenders may also face disqualification from driving all classes of vehicles.
