Eh bro, last week got one damn drama incident sia. My buddy Ah Hock almost kena scam until jialat, but heng we brothers at KTV that night. So what happen: Ah Hock been talking to this so-called “investment manager” on WhatsApp, say got sure-win investment in luxury property and crypto trading. The fella tok until like guarantee financial freedom in three months, confirm suspicious right?

Then Friday night we go KTV to relax, sing some old-school Jacky Cheung song. Suddenly this new guy come join, say he’s friend of one of our kakis. Wah, he come wear Rolex, carry LV bag, talk very big about passive income, crypto profits, and how he already retired at 30. He keep hard sell his investment plan, say just need to transfer $10,000 now for exclusive deal.

But when he start showing Ah Hock the same fake certificates he WhatsApp him, my friend who zai in stocks straight away recognise the scam. He faster open MAS Investor Alert List on his phone, show the company name there — illegal sia!

That moment, whole KTV room silent. Then one of my brothers stand up, point at the fella and shout: “Oi! You think we stupid issit? You scam our brother ah?!” Wah, the scammer face green liao, try to siam. We all almost whack him, but lucky the KTV manager come in to break up before things turn into free-for-all wrestling match.

In the end, we make sure Ah Hock cancel his bank transfer, heng the money still pending, can block. If not, his savings for BTO downpayment sure gone like 4D ticket never kenna.

This whole incident remind us hor, nowadays scammer very daring, even dare come KTV act friendly. They like to use keywords like high ROI, luxury lifestyle, passive income to sweet talk. Bros and sis, always double-check with official sources like MAS website, don’t just believe smooth talkers — otherwise your dream of early retirement and sports car all gone case liao.
