According to eyewitnesses, the couple had been arguing over money when tensions escalated into violence. During the heated confrontation, the woman was allegedly heard shouting, “Want to die, let’s die together!” before attacking her boyfriend. The injured man managed to escape the unit, leaving a trail of blood as he sought help, reported Shin Min Daily News.

The altercation reportedly occurred at The Cradels, a private residential development along Lorong Limau. Police officers arrived swiftly at the scene, responding to an emergency call made at around 10.25am.

Residents were stunned when at least nine police vehicles were spotted surrounding the condominium shortly after the incident. Officers were seen securing the area, including cordoning off the 12th floor, believed to be where the attack occurred.

Investigators remained inside the unit for over three hours, removing several items as evidence. Among the seized items were multiple e-vaporisers, commonly referred to as vapes, and other personal belongings. One officer was also spotted carrying a protective shield upon leaving the premises.

The heavy police presence alarmed residents, many of whom had been unaware of the escalating tensions within the condo. Some admitted they had occasionally heard quarrels in recent months but never expected such violence to erupt.

Witness Accounts Reveal Chaotic Scene

Ms Li, a 24-year-old resident, recalled hearing loud commotion around 11am before noticing officers blocking access to part of the building. She described the scene as “tense” and said residents were only allowed into the lift after confirming their floor with police.

Another resident, Mr Wang, 50, said he had encountered frequent but minor disputes in the building earlier this year. He expressed shock that an argument could spiral into a knife attack in what is considered a secure property.

The Singapore Police Force confirmed that the suspect has been arrested for voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon. The victim was conscious when taken to hospital, and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
