Just came out of Clementi station where all the gantries on one side of the station had no response when commuters tried to tap out. I knocked on the door of the control station where three staff were chatting happily inside. They made zero effort to open the door to hear me out. I tried signalling to them what’s happening to the gantries where a lot other commuters were looking confused.

The Indian lady near door just simply waved me off and continued chatting away with her colleagues. I tried knocking on the door again and this time they just simply ignored me. Well done, SMRT. Trains were 3rd world standard, now even the staff don’t even bother to help.
