Met the most ridiculous con couple from China.
Man wearing AP watch, versace top, body full of cologne and cig smell.
Wife dressed in full blast Gucci, Hermes, Chanel.
When my sis & i were going down the escalator with our shopping bags, the couple ran towards me. The man was asking if i understanding Mandarin, i thought they wanted to ask for directions(as usual always want to be helpful), so i said “YES”(with a smile) and i started to call my sister to stop walking so i can help them.
In the end, this man was telling me they just lost RMB 1million(SGD $200,000) in genting and currently have no money to eat. Need to wait for his family to send him money. And he wanted us to treat him to eat in a restaurant.
I said to him “Sorry we are also tourist, we cannot help you.”
The guy immediately roll eyes at me and walked off.

I went down the escalator and my sis is still there with the wife, and the wife was telling my sister “Chinese should help Chinese.”
The wife roll her eyes at my sis as well after i called out to my sister not to give money.
How ridiculous can humans get nowadays.
I do alot of donations to poor people selling tissues, people who are disabled. But donating to gamblers is something i will never do. Becareful all my friends!
