I can’t believe it! I had been looking forward to this flight for months, it was first class tickets and it was my first time.
But, somehow, I still managed to miss my first class flight. The reason? I had to go to the toilet.
It all started when I was running late. I had been running around like a madman all morning, trying to wrap up some last minute tasks before I was due to leave.
I had originally planned to leave my house around 8am, but I was running a bit behind and ended up leaving at 8:15.
I thought I had enough time to make it to the airport, but I was wrong. I was stuck in traffic, and it was taking forever to get there.
I was getting anxious and I knew I had to get to the airport soon or I was going to miss my flight.
But then, I had to go to the toilet. It was one of those moments where you know you can’t hold it in any longer.
I knew I had to pull over and find a toiler, but I also knew that I didn’t have much time. I asked my driver to pull into a petrol station and ran into the toilet, hoping that I could make it back to the car in time.
Unfortunately, I was too late. By the time I got back to the car, I had already missed my flight. I was devastated, but there was nothing I could do. I had to accept that I had missed my flight and that I was going to have to reschedule.
To this day, I still can’t believe that I missed my flight because I had to go to the toilet.
It was such a silly and avoidable mistake, but it ended up costing me a lot of time and money.
I have since learned my lesson and now I always give myself plenty of time to get to the airport.
