A foreign man was reportedly assaulted and robbed by three individuals at an automated teller machine in Phuket, raising fresh concerns over tourist safety in the popular holiday destination.

Based on the video, the foreign man was seen attempting to withdraw cash from an ATM at around 5am. A man believed to be local was standing close behind him during the transaction.
The situation appeared tense, with the foreigner seemingly unable to complete the withdrawal. He was later seen engaging in a verbal exchange with another individual nearby.
Observers noted that the man appeared unsteady on his feet and nearly lost his balance at one point, before regaining control.
Moments later, two additional men approached, and the confrontation escalated. The trio allegedly demanded money from the foreigner, who was seen making a phone call but was unable to hand over any cash.
Attack Turns Violent As Suspects Flee With Cash
The situation quickly turned physical when one of the men struck the foreigner in the face. The other two then joined in the assault, with the group reportedly searching him for valuables.
After obtaining cash, the suspects fled the scene, leaving the victim behind. Despite being attacked, the foreigner managed to get back on his feet and was later seen attempting to chase after the group.
However, it remains unclear whether he managed to recover his belongings or if further assistance was rendered.
