Last Saturday, we planned to go to Jewel for dinner. I reached early, she reached 45 minutes late. Her excuse? “The Grab driver’s car smelled like Febreze and it made me feel dizzy so I had to cancel and wait for another one.” Hello? You think you are royalty is it? I was standing there like a fool outside Shake Shack holding our queue number, while she was busy curate-ing her Instagram story about “self-care and boundaries.”
Then, when we finally sat down, she spend 20 minutes taking photos of the burger from every single angle. The food cold already, then she start complaining that the standard dropped. I tell her, “Baby, the food cold because you were busy being a photographer,” and she immediately pull face. The whole night, she just looked at her phone and gave me one-word answers. Every time I try to talk about my day at work, she will say, “Can don’t talk about negative things? It’s ruining my vibes.”
The best part? Last night, she sent me a TikTok of a $5k Chanel bag and said, “My love language is receiving gifts, hope you take note.” Bro, my love language is “not going bankrupt.” I’m working 9-to-6, OT-ing like siao, and she’s out here expecting me to sponsor her aesthetic lifestyle when she cannot even pay her own credit card bills on time.
And don’t even get me started on her “diet.” She will order a giant salad, eat two leaves, then proceed to finish 70% of my fries because “fries don’t count if they are from your plate.” Logic where??
I love her, but honestly, the entitlement is real. Is it all SG girls like that now or did I just suay and pick the one who thinks she’s living in a K-drama? Send help, or send a lawyer. Sian.
