A 56-year-old man has died following a traffic accident involving two cars along Clementi Avenue 2 on the evening of May 10.
According to the police, officers were alerted to the incident at around 6:10pm. The accident reportedly occurred along the stretch heading towards West Coast Road in the Clementi area.
The driver, who was found unconscious at the scene, was taken to the National University Hospital for emergency treatment. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
The incident has drawn attention online after photos of the aftermath began circulating on social media platforms. Images showed a black sedan severely damaged after crashing into a tree located on a lane divider. The impact appeared to have caused extensive damage to the front portion of the vehicle.
