The Singapore Police Force is seeking public assistance to locate two missing teenage girls in separate cases, including one who has reportedly been missing for more than eight days.
Authorities issued appeals for information regarding the whereabouts of the girls, aged 13 and 15, after they were last seen in different parts of Singapore earlier this month.
The cases have since drawn attention online as concerned members of the public shared the appeals across social media platforms in hopes of helping police locate the teenagers safely.
13-Year-Old Last Seen In Boon Lay Wearing School Uniform
One of the missing teenagers has been identified as 13-year-old Jade Tan.
According to police, she was last seen on May 15 at around 6pm in the vicinity of Boon Lay Avenue.
At the time she went missing, Jade was reportedly dressed in her school uniform, consisting of a white shirt and white skirt.
Police released her photograph as part of the public appeal and urged anyone with information to come forward immediately.
The western Singapore neighbourhood where she was last spotted is a busy residential area with nearby schools, public transport connections and shopping facilities, leading to growing public concern over her disappearance.

In a separate case, police are also appealing for information on the whereabouts of 15-year-old Nur Qaseh Qalisha Binte Fadhlee.
She was last seen on May 8 at around 12.20pm near Cashew Road.
As of May 16, the teenager had been missing for more than a week.
The Singapore Police Force did not disclose additional details surrounding the circumstances of either disappearance but confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
Police have urged members of the public who may have seen the teenagers or possess relevant information to contact the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000.
