A rare albino buffalo in Bangladesh has gone viral online after many people noticed its unusual resemblance to United States President Donald Trump.
The four-year-old buffalo, raised on a farm in Narayanganj near Dhaka, quickly became a social media attraction due to its pinkish-white skin and blond hair that appears styled like Trump’s signature comb-over hairstyle. Locals even nicknamed the animal “Donald Trump”.
According to reports, visitors from different parts of Bangladesh have been travelling to the farm just to take photos and videos of the buffalo after clips of it spread online.
Farm Owner Says Buffalo Became Internet Celebrity

The buffalo’s owner, Mr Ziauddin Mridha, reportedly bought the animal around 10 months ago. He explained that his brother came up with the nickname after noticing similarities between the buffalo’s hair and the American president’s hairstyle.
Despite the humorous comparisons online, the farm owner described the buffalo as calm and gentle unless disturbed. The unusual-looking animal has since become one of the farm’s biggest attractions ahead of the Eid al-Adha festive season.
Reports stated that the albino buffalo weighs around 700kg and was eventually sold for sacrificial purposes during Eid celebrations. The animal was reportedly priced at around BDT385,000, which converts to approximately S$4,200.
The story has since generated widespread attention across social media platforms, with many netizens joking that the buffalo’s hairstyle looked “shockingly accurate”.
Other Animals Also Named After Famous Figures
Interestingly, this is not the first time farm animals in Bangladesh have been compared to famous public figures.
The same farm reportedly owns a golden-haired bull nicknamed after Brazilian football star Neymar due to its blond hairstyle.
Another albino buffalo from Narayanganj was allegedly named after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu because of its hair and facial features.
According to local media reports, farm workers described the “Netanyahu” buffalo as far more aggressive and difficult to handle compared to the “Donald Trump” buffalo.
The unusual animal stories have continued attracting curiosity online, especially as rare-looking livestock often become viral talking points across South Asia during the Eid season.
