Chinese actor Jin Ze, whose real name was Zhang Jiawei, has died at the age of 33, shocking fans and followers across China’s entertainment scene.
His management company, Shiguangnian Culture, confirmed the news in a public statement, saying the actor passed away on 4 June at his home in Hangzhou. The sudden announcement quickly attracted widespread attention online, with many fans initially refusing to believe the reports.
Before the confirmation, discussions had already spread on Chinese social media after rumours claimed that Jin Ze had died in Hengdian.
