HDB Launching 2,520 Faster-To-Move-In Flats In Sembawang And Ang Mo Kio This June

Singapore home seekers looking for a shorter waiting time may have more options in the upcoming June 2026 Build-To-Order (BTO) exercise, with the Housing & Development Board (HDB) set to offer around 6,900 new flats across several towns.

Of these, approximately 2,520 units will have waiting times of around three years or less, making them among the quickest BTO projects available in recent years.

The flats will be spread across three developments located in Sembawang and Ang Mo Kio, accounting for more than one-third of the total units being launched in June.

Two Sembawang Projects To Be Ready In Under Three Years

The largest share of the shorter-wait projects will be located in the growing Sembawang North area.

Sembawang Portico, situated near Admiralty Lane and Sembawang Drive, will offer 875 units ranging from 2-Room Flexi to 5-Room flats. The project is expected to have a waiting time of just two years and seven months.

Nearby, Sembawang Brook will provide 1,160 units, including 3Gen flats designed for multi-generational families. This development is expected to be completed in approximately two years and nine months.

Both projects are located next to each other and are part of the ongoing development of the Sembawang North estate. Future residents can look forward to nearby amenities such as childcare centres, minimarts, food outlets and bus services, which are expected to become operational shortly after residents begin collecting their keys.

Existing amenities including Sun Plaza and Bukit Canberra are also located within the vicinity.

Ang Mo Kio Project Offers Mature Estate Living

For buyers who prefer a mature estate, Kebun Baru Ridge in Ang Mo Kio will offer 485 units of 3-Room and 4-Room flats.

Located along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 2, the project consists of three residential blocks and is expected to be completed within three years and one month.

Residents will benefit from amenities within the development itself, including an eating house and minimart. Popular nearby facilities such as Mayflower Shopping & Food Centre, Kebun Baru Market & Food Centre and Ang Mo Kio Town Centre will also be easily accessible.

In addition, commuters will be able to connect to the Thomson-East Coast Line via nearby Mayflower MRT Station.

Four More BTO Projects To Be Announced

Apart from the three faster-completion developments, HDB will also launch four additional BTO projects across Ang Mo Kio, Bishan, Bukit Merah and Woodlands during the June exercise.

Details regarding the flat types, pricing and classification categories are expected to be released when the official sales exercise opens later this month.

The latest launch is likely to attract strong interest from first-time buyers and families seeking shorter waiting periods, particularly as demand for housing remains robust and many Singaporeans continue to prioritise faster access to their new homes.
