A total of 22 people were taken to hospital after a chain collision involving a mini-bus, a lorry and a prime mover in Tuas on the morning of Jun. 18.
The accident occurred along Tuas South Avenue 3 towards Tuas South Boulevard at around 6:50am, prompting an emergency response from the authorities.
All 22 individuals, aged between 21 and 53, were conveyed to hospital while conscious.

Videos circulating on social media showed the aftermath of the incident, with significant damage visible across the vehicles involved.
A white mini-bus appeared to have sustained heavy front-end damage, while several of its windows were shattered.
Fragments of the mini-bus’ windscreen were seen scattered onto the cargo bed of a blue lorry.
The blue lorry had also collided with a white prime mover during the chain reaction crash.
Emergency vehicles and personnel were deployed to the scene to assist the injured and manage traffic conditions in the area.
19 Occupants Were From The Lorry
According to the Singapore Police Force (SPF), 19 of the 22 people conveyed to hospital were occupants of the lorry, while the remaining three were from the prime mover.
No occupants from the mini-bus were reported among those sent to hospital.
The authorities stated that all those injured were conscious when transported for medical treatment.
Mini-Bus Driver Assisting With Investigations
Police added that a 41-year-old male mini-bus driver is currently assisting with investigations into the incident.
The exact cause of the collision has not yet been determined.
Investigations are ongoing.
