DELUSIONAL WOMAN KEEPS THINKS SHE IS DYING FORCE HUSBAND TO LEAVE WORK, RINK OF GETTING FIRED

DELUSIONAL WOMAN KEEPS THINKS SHE IS DYING, FORCE HUSBAND TO LEAVE WORK. ON THE BRINK OF GETTING FIRED. BRAIN GOT PROBLEM??

Standard disclaimer: Using throwaway account because my wife knows my main, and if she sees this, she will suddenly develop a new, undiscovered stage 5 terminal illness just to spite me.

Bro, I cannot take it already. Truly. I need to vent before I become the next resident at IMH.

My wife—let’s call her Queen of Drama—is convinced she is constantly on the brink of death. Every. Single. Week. It’s always some new medical mystery that would puzzle the world’s top scientists. On Monday, she has a mild headache? “Oh my god, it’s a brain aneurysm, I can see the white light, come back now.” On Wednesday, she farts a bit too loudly? “My appendix bursting already, hurry up leave office or you will see my corpse.”

The best part? Because of her constant “imminent demise,” I am forced to drop everything and rush home from work like some GrabFood rider delivering life-saving soup. I have used up all my Annual Leave, all my Sick Leave, and I’m pretty sure my boss is currently drafting my termination letter. Yesterday, during a high-stakes client presentation, she called me 17 times. Why? Because her left arm felt “tingly.” I panicked, told my boss it was a family emergency, and rushed home.

You know what it was? She was sleeping on her arm for two hours while bingeing Netflix. KNN.

The Reality Check: Doctor vs. Drama Queen

Every time we go to the A&E—which is basically our weekend dating spot now—the doctors do the same thing:

  • Run the blood tests (Perfect).
  • Check the blood pressure (Optimal).
  • Look at me with deep, pitying eyes that say, “Bro, why you marry this one?”

We have literally spent thousands of dollars just for the A&E doctor to tell her to go home and take two Panadol. But no, she knows better than the medical professionals! She says the doctors in Singapore are “incompetent” and don’t understand her rare condition.

Go See Siao Lang Doctor Please

This one is no longer a physical medical issue, okay? This is next-level attention-seeking behavior. Truly brain got problem. If you are so free to think you are dying every day, go get a hobby. Go do some volunteer work. Don’t ruin my career because your mental capacity cannot handle a bit of wind in your stomach.

At this rate, I am the one who is going to die—from starvation, because I am about to get fired and won’t be able to pay the BTO loan.

Seriously, if your brain got problem, go see a siao lang doctor mah! Go IMH and get some proper psychiatric help. Stop being a toxic, selfish trouble-maker. Anyone else facing this kind of delusional partner or should I just pack my bags and sign the divorce papers now?

TL;DR: Wife thinks she is meeting Yama (King of Hell) every two days, making me ponteng work until my boss wants to fire me. Turns out her brain is the only thing that’s actually broken.
