These guys will prioritize the girl they are chasing (or dating) over every single aspect of their lives. Career? Drop. Friends? Ghosted. Financial future? Wiped out on expensive cafe dates and luxury gifts. But the absolute worst, most disgusting part? The way they treat their own parents the moment a girl enters the picture.
It makes my blood boil, man.
You see it all the time. The guy’s mother will cook a nice, proper home-cooked meal, standing over the hot stove for two hours after working a full day. She calls him out to eat, and what does this Ji Hong simp do? He rolls his eyes, snaps at his mom, and says, “Aiyah, don’t disturb me can or not? I’m texting [Girl’s Name]!” Then five minutes later, the girl says she is hungry, and this same fellow will instantly grab his car keys or call a Grab, run out in the pouring rain, and travel from Woodlands all the way to Sentosa just to buy her some overpriced acai bowl.
To the girl, he is a golden retriever puppy—so gentle, so polite, carrying her shopping bags, nodding like a bobblehead, and paying for everything even when his bank account is crying. But the moment he steps back into his parents’ HDB flat? He turns into a toxic, arrogant king. If his dad asks a simple question like, “Boy, did you pay your share of the SP services bill?” the guy will throw a massive temper tantrum. “Why you always stress me out? You only care about money! You are ruining my mental health!”
Like hello?? You have money to buy Chanel lipsticks and staycation packages at Marina Bay Sands for a girl who treats you like an option, but you cannot even give your parents a few hundred dollars a month for allowance? You talk down to the very people who raised you, paid for your school fees, and supported you when you had absolutely nothing, just so you can look like a big shot in front of some girl?
